American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA), Wiener Laboratory: Research Fellowship in Environmental Studies

Purpose:

Annual award to support doctoral candidates who are writing dissertations and postdoctoral scholars pursuing well-defined research projects, either alone or in collaboration with local research institutions, in environmental studies from archaeological contexts in Greece.

Field:

Archaeology, archaeobotanical studies, study of seeds, charcoal, phytoliths, pollen, etc.

Eligibility:

Doctoral candidates working on their dissertation and postdoctoral scholars with well-defined projects that can be completed during the academic year of the fellowship.

Amount:

Stipend from $15,500 to $25,000, depending on seniority and experience, for the academic year. Waiver of school fees.
