American Association of University Women (AAUW): American Fellowships: Summer/Short-term Research Publication Grants

Purpose:

Annual award offered to support women scholars for a period of at least 8 weeks preparing research for publication--for final writing, editing, and responding to issues raised in critical reviews.

Eligibility:

Women who are citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. Applicants must have been awarded the Ph.D. degree by the application deadline. Applicants may be college or university faculty members or independent scholars, either new or established. Scholars with strong publishing records should seek other funding. Women from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. AAUW membership is not required.
