U.S. Supreme Court: Supreme Court Fellowship

Purpose:

Annual fellowships to enable individuals holding a graduate degree to work in the federal court system for one year, either at the Supreme Court of the U.S., the Federal Judiciary Center, the U.S. Sentencing Commission, or the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.

Eligibility:

Candidates should hold at least one graduate degree and have had 2 or more years of professional experience with a record of high achievement. Appointment for the fellowship is subject to a successful security background check.

Amount:

Fellows become employees of the federal court system with a GS-15/3 salary (currently $98,198) as well as health and life insurance benefits.
